Our tours are run through the stunning trails provided by the Snow Farm, presenting a unique opportunity to run sled dogs through the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
UnderDog New Zealand’s sled dog tours are conveniently located only 70 minutes from Queenstown and 45 from Wanaka along the Crown Range Road, which links the two towns through the Cardona Valley. The small community of Cardona is the location of the historic Cardona Hotel, one of NZ’s oldest. A couple of kilometers north is the access road to the Snow Farm set high in the Pisa Range.
The Crown Range road is New Zealand’s highest main road. The road’s elevation can result in driving conditions becoming adverse at times, as can the climb up to Pisa Range to the Snow Farm. If driving, ensure that you are adequately prepared for the conditions.
